Ateb Suitability takes its name from the Welsh word ateb—“answer”. Since 1996, we’ve supported firms across the UK with judgement, rigour, and clarity. Today, that legacy lives on through our policy team, partners, and enduring focus on quality advice.
ATEB Insights—formerly ATEB Suitability—was founded out of ATEB Compliance, itself established in 1996 to support regulated advice firms through a rapidly changing landscape.
From the earliest days of file reviews and Section 166 assignments, to creating a structured, web-based suitability reporting system in 2008, our goal has remained consistent: to provide defensible, high-quality, regulator-recognised content that saves firms time and protects their clients.
We built a reputation not just for expertise, but for clarity. Our templates are grounded in real policy understanding. Our content is built by the same team that has walked firms through the FCA's toughest audits.
Today, ATEB Insights continues to deliver that same expertise as part of Saturn—the UK's leading provider of AI-powered workflows for Financial Advisers. But our foundation hasn’t changed. It’s still about expertise and providing the right answers when advice needs to be clear, compliant, and accessible.
